Colonie Senior Services Center to Feature New Photography Exhibit
Around Town With Amy Modesti founder to debut work at Beltrone Living Center
COLONIE - The Colonie Senior Services Center and Around Town With Amy Modesti have announced the arrival of a new photography exhibition featuring the works of multimedia artist, photographer, and photojournalist, Amy Modesti.
Modesti, business owner of both ALM Fine Art & Photography and Around Town With Amy Modesti of Cropseyville, N.Y., will showcase her concert photography and nature photography inside the Gallery Hallway of the Beltrone Living Center, located at 6 Winners Circle, Albany, N.Y. 12205.
Visitors are invited to attend Modesti’s opening reception and can meet Modesti in person Wednesday, April 3, from 4-5 p.m. The opening is free and open to the public.
All photographic works will be for sale in the exhibit. Her exhibit will be on view throughout the months of April and May.
Modesti recently took part as a participating arts vendor and served as a Colonie Spotlight representative as part of the Colonie Senior Services Center’s International Womens’ Day event March 8.
This will be Modesti’s first solo exhibition at the senior center.
For over a decade, Modesti has made her mark in the promotion and documentation of the Capital Region’s creative and energetic live music and art scene. Modesti, who specializes in concert and event photography, has had her work published in TheSpot518, The Eastwick Press, Xperience Monthly Magazine, and other publications, online blogs, and on the podcast, Unsigned 518 Podcast with Andy Scullin of the band, Shortwave RadioBand.
